We are looking for the best and the brightest top-notch Sales Porter to join our rapidly expanding service team at our Hyundai of Glendale dealership.
The Sales Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the Sales/Service area, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.
Responsibilities:
>Drives vehicles to and from the work areas and lots as needed.
>Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles.
>Services vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
>Washes and cleans vehicles as needed.
>Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway, sidewalks, and Show Room, by removing debris as necessary.
>Helps maintain Dealership cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
>Dealer Trades.
>Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested.
>Ensures that the required documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards.
>Follow all safety and security procedures.
>Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
>19+ years or older to be insured within the company.
>High school diploma or GED preferred.
>Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
>Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and safely operate vehicles in tight spaces.
>Highly professional and dependable.
>Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
>Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
>Basic computer and internet skills.
>Must be customer service oriented.
>Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
>Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
>Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
>Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
