Hyundai is seeking a qualified Hyundai certified Automotive Technician to contribute to our dynamic team! As a technician with us, you’ll be part of a collaborative team working closely with other technicians, Service Advisors and the parts department, and will report to the Service Manager.

Core Responsibilities:

• Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Inform the Service Advisor of any additional services needed, estimating the time needed to complete additional repairs
• Perform work on the repair order per dealership processes
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience, demonstrating proficient technical and mechanical knowledge
• Hyundai experience and certifications required; engine certification preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Collaborative and willing to work as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Hours and Work Environment

Scheduled shifts will be between 7am and 6pm Monday through Friday. We ask that all applicants have availability to work during these hours. Our technicians enjoy a high-volume of work in fully equipped, climate-controlled shop.

Employment Position: Full Time

Salary: $30.00 - $44.00 Hourly

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
